I was a guest at a work Christmas party catered by Simply Hog Roast, and I was really impressed. The food was amazing, with so many people commenting on how tasty everything was.What stood out most for me was the service. Even though it was a large event, the team were friendly, professional, and went out of their way to provide me with my dietary preferences. It made me feel genuinely looked after, which you don’t often get at big catered events.Overall, it was a great experience, and Simply Hog Roast played a huge part in making the night so enjoyable. I’d happily recommend them for any event!

Hired this lovely family-run business in Surrey for our wedding – absolutely brilliant! Juicy hog roast sandwiches, fresh organic salads from their garden, and perfect chips. All British, all delicious. Friendly service, rave reviews from guests.Highly recommend!

I had my husband’s birthday party catered by simply hog roast. As a bit of a novice to hog roasting I was amazed by the quality of ingredients used and that this wasn’t as naughty as I first envisaged. I particularly liked the home made coleslaw and the fact that it was mostly home grown in their garden! I also research the health and safety rating of them and this was the best company I could find. I’m hugely converted and look forward to having them next year for my 40th as it was such an easy way to cater for a big group as they brought everything - plates, cutlery, food etc. I don’t usually do reviews but thought I would as I was apprehensive to try something new so thought I’d provide reassurance to others.

Fabulous hog roast, complete with theatre, delicious sides and lovely people to deal with. All our guests were highly complimentary. Couldn't have hoped for better!

Hannah, Alex and the team provided food for our later of 190 guests this summer and boy was it AMAZING. The service was friendly efficient, they were able to cater for all dietary needs and most of all the food on offer was insanely delicious. Simply Hog Roast provided the late night catering for my daughter's wedding. Communication before the event was excellent. They were super-prompt and friendly. Most importantly of all, the food was delicious!

They did a great job. Everyone enjoyed it. My wife is Filipina, so we now have the head in our fridge. Honestly, you don't have to do this - they will take it away.

Simply Hog Roast catered for our mini festival and did a fantastic service as nothing was too much trouble. The hog roast itself was delicious and served from their food van which completed the festival vibe brilliantly! I would highly recommend Simply Hog Roast.

Hannah and Alex were the consummate professionals. Comms were clear in advance, the price very competitive for the exciting menu. On the day they arrived early and set up quickly and efficiently despite the attention of 3 hungry dogs. The food was exceptional. The pork was succulent and flavourful, the bread buns fresh, stuffing delicious and salads complimented it nicely. Everyone who attended the party spoke glowingly of the delicious meat. We ate the leftovers for several days afterwards and never once tired of the flavours. Could not recommend more. Thank you!

We had Hannah and Alex at our wedding reception on Saturday 5th April 2025 and it was fantastic! They truly made our evening special. The communication from start to finish was professional and quick- especially regarding dietary requirements and making adjustments to ensure all of our guests could eat without worry! The team were phenomenal from the day we booked, to the party date. Anna was exceptionally helpful in arranging everything and sorting out the detail and was always responsive. On the day of the event Raf & Miro were great characters, exceptionally respectful and tidy. We could not have asked for better caterers. We would hire them again and again. HIghly recommended!~

Delicious. Admittedly I walked away wondering why I'd paid that much for chips, but they were delicious so I didn't mind at all once I was halfway through! The pork buns are also fantastic - disappear inside 2min...

I'm leaving a review both as an event manager who had Simply Hog Roast at a big event, and as a diner of his food. So first for the food. Absolutely DELICIOUS!! Portion was so generous, the combination of flavours was mouthwateringly good. I was so happy that I got two, as I had the second one the next day warmed up and it was every bit as good as the day before! Really high quality food, great service and so friendly. Now as an event manager: These guys are so professional I would recommend them highly to have at any event you are orgnaising. Their communications with me before the event were spot on - only event managers will know how important this is. Then on the day they were so accommodating, chilled, relaxed, happy, friendly - an absolute joy to work with. I've been an event manager for many years (too many) and when you find good suppliers like this, you hang on to them. It is rare to find such truly nice people to work with - actually "human" with the right values!! Thank you Raff for playing your part in a lovely event (and for the most lovely dinner two nights in a row!!)

Really excellent food. It's been a very long time since I ate anything so good. I highly recommend it!

We hired Raffa and Anna to cater for our 40th party and boy, what a great call that was! Raffa turned up with his truck and an enormous roasted hog for our 100+ guests and parked up a the end of the garden. On smelling the freshly cooked pork everyone immediately formed an orderly queue and they weren't disappointed! Almost everyone commented that it was possibly the best hog roast they'd ever had and, having organised a few of these for various club events I'd 100% agree. The meat was succulent beyond belief, and the crackling was as good, if not better than some of the similar things I've eaten in Michelin starred restaurants - it was out of this world. After serving up second and even third helpings, Raffa packaged up the left over pork for us so we could use it later. The service was great, the food amazing and the price per person very reasonable. Loved it :)

I bumped into Rafael’s food truck- Simply Hog Roast by accident while visiting a friend in the UK and I am so glad I did! We tried their special- pig in a bun with fried halloumi and perfectly crispie fries as a side. The portion was really generous, looked great and tasted even better. I will surely come back here for some more foods and chats with Rafael.

Simply delicious. Well priced for a festival meal. Had this 2 days running at the recent Dub South Campout. Generously sized portions, succulent meat, tasty stuffing, delicious apple sauce, crispy fries and quality scratchings. Would recommend and hope to have it again at some point.

I'm so glad these guys are on my doorstep. Delicious pulled pork with gigantic portions. It's finally here, the takeaway roast dinner. The crackling is amazing too and I love all the sides. I can't recommend simple hog roast enough. You can't recreate this at home as they slow cook their pork for over ten hours. This meal is a West Sussex must try.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had !!!! Use them every weekend without a doubt ....the staff are always helpful and friendly ....just an all round good service and good quality food !! A must try for anyone that hasn’t !!!

We had hog roast for 2 yesterday, absolutely brilliant. Totally professional and responsible. We arrived at our allotted time and the guy apologised for being 3 minutes behind!
