We’ve come up with a selection of questions that customers commonly ask us when enquiring about a hog roast.

Most our parties count somewhere  between 40 and 90 people.

Nevertheless we are very confident cooking for 350 hungry rugby players and very happy cooking for 20 kids.

Our smallest ever party was just 12 friends, and the biggest event saw over 500 bikers.

We will need about 4×4 meters of a relatively flat surface like lawn, deck or pavement.

The ideal spot will have  good access with the narrowest point of at least 1m and access to an electrical socket.

We will be happy to serve your food inside if needed as well as outside as usual.

Please let us know of any special circumstances and we will discuss a strategy.

We generally require between 1.5 and 2.5 hours for preparation.

We then serve your food  for up to 2 hours and need up to 1 more hour to clear up and leave.

If for any reason you need us to do it quicker  or stay longer please let us know and we’ll arrange accordingly.

If you can provide an electrical socket that’s great, it makes things significantly easier.

Nevertheless, it’s not a problem for us to operate “off grid” if necessary.

Just let us know and  we can prepare it headless or serve carved pork from a chafing dish should you prefer.

We will be cooking and serving under a small marquee and will always do our best to challenge famous English weather.

We shall fight it in the field and we shall fight it in the cities and we shall never surrender!

Our chef with pack all the left overs nicely for you in the appropriate containers and leave it all safely for you for later.

Anything you don’t want will be taken away and disposed safely along with any rubbish. 

We use only fresh locally grown best quality pigs, lambs and beef from our trusted source that provides us with a guarantee of the highest standards of conduct.

We have been involved in all aspect of food and hospitality industry for over 20 years now and currently 

we are proud to be rewarded with the  highest  possible rank by environmental food and safety agency.

We meet all requirements and reach way further in most areas.

We have full public liability insurance. 

We will be happy to provide you with a certificate upon request.

We will require a 25% deposit when you make your reservation. 

We’ll require the remaining  payment at least 14 days before your big day.

If you would like to make a reservation in less then the usual two weeks ahead than we will require full payment in advance.

Yes we have a great offer for vegetarians vegans and in fact all of your friends including those on gluten free and keto diets.

Let us know what you need and we’ll sprinkle it with a touch of our magic.

Our standard menu choices are nut free. We always have a gluten free choice and we can provide you with full allergy table upon request.

We prepare as many portions as you booking dictates.

However, in reality we always have enough for a few bigger appetites for second or even third helpings. 

Don’t worry if you have an additional unforeseen guest or two, but please book for twice as many people if you want to ensure everyone gets a second helping.
