Most our parties count somewhere between 50 and 150 people.
Nevertheless we are very confident cooking for 350 hungry rugby players and very happy cooking for an intimate party of 20. Our smallest ever party was just 12 friends, and the biggest event saw over 500 bikers
We will need 6mx3m of a relatively flat hard standing area like lawn, gravel or pavement for our food truck, with access with the narrowest point of at least 3m.
We can also serve from catering tables underneath a gazebo if there is no access for our food truck. For this we need a minimum space of 3.5mx3.5m, with step free or minimal step access, no narrower than 1 metre.
We are also able to serve your food inside if needed.

We generally require between 1 and 2.5 hours for preparation, depending on the size of the event.
We will be serving between 1 - 2.5 hours depending on number of guests, and will need up to 1 hour further clear away.
If you would like us to serve more quickly, or stay for longer please let us know and we can arrange accordingly.
Our food truck is completely self sufficient, so we are able to run ‘off grid’ if necessary. However, if you can provide an electrical socket, we would be grateful for this. We require x1 standard 13A socket, or a 16V 3 pin.
Just let us know and we can prepare it headless or serve carved pork from a chafing dish should you prefer.
We will be cooking and serving either from our food truck, or under a gazebo and we will always do our best to challenge the famous English weather.
We are more than happy to also serve food inside.
Our chef will pack all of the left overs in appropriate containers and leave it all safely for you for later.
Anything you don’t want will be taken away and disposed safely along with any rubbish.
All of the pigs we use at Simply Hog Roast are sourced from over 40 local farmers in Hampshire and Dorking.
We also home grow as many ingredients as possible on our menu, including the carrots for our delicious coleslaw, peppers and tomatoes for our vegan BBQ jackfruit.

We require a 25% deposit to secure your booking.
The remaining balance is due at least 14 days prior to your big day.
If you would like to book our services less than two weeks in advance, we will require full payment upon booking.
Of course! We offer vegetarian and vegan alternatives as standard in all of our packages. We can also cater for other dietary requirements, including gluten and dairy free!
Not at all! All of our staff are trained to the highest standard of food hygiene and safety. We are confident in catering for all allergies, and will try our best to accommodate all of your guests needs.
Our preparation kitchen and menu are completely nut free.
We can provide gluten and dairy free alternatives for those guests who need it, and we can provide you with a full allergy matrix upon request.
We prepare as many portions as you booking dictates.
However, in reality we always have enough for a few bigger appetites for second or even third helpings.
Don’t worry if you have an additional unforeseen guest or two, but please book for twice as many people if you want to ensure everyone gets a second helping.
